Hey guys, I've started a new story "Shards of Light."

Like a lot of new stories, it's a 7th year fic with the trio hunting for Horcruxes. But this isn't a traditional one-shot and the trio aren't running around Britain on an extended camping trip.

The story is less about the Horcruxes and more about the changing dynamic within the trio and even outside forces. It's about each of the trio, as young adults going out on their own, finding out their place in the world and not just their place in the war.

Queue Overflow?

Hey, guys, I was wondering if the queue was overflowing or something because nobody has picked up either of my stories and it's coming on a month. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to address this in that report feature or not, so here I am.

I understand you guys all have your own lives, but it's been a month and I haven't heard anything. Plus, it had buckbeaky as beta for "The Troll" but nobody's listed there anymore. What's up?

Ron & Draco

My friend and I were having a conversation on Ron and Draco and how they compare. Like their importance on money, the role of family in their lives, how they influence and treat other people around them, and how they react to conflict.

A lot of people think that if you were to compare the trio to Malfoy, that Ron would compare more to Malfoy than Harry.

I was curious if anyone else had some imput on that. I think it's an interesting topic.

Shameless Plug For A Fic-'n-pic

Hey guys, a baby community I help mod needs a little something to get it off the ground so I started a R/Hr Fic-'n-Pic.

If you don't know what that is (and I don't think you would, I made it up, though I'm sure something like it has been done before), a Fic-'n-Pic is where an author writes a story and an artist draws a pic to illustrate it or vice versa.

I've seen some of these on the web before, but usually it's a single person writing a story then drawing a picture, but this time we pair people up to help introduce members in the community to each other.

The Fic-'n-Pic is experimental, since it relies so heavily upon interest from both artists and authors. And therefore, if it doesn't generate enough response, there will be no Fic-'n-Pic.

So if it's something you're interested in, even just a little, please check it out! Stories can be 100 word drabbles and pics could be funny stick-figure sketches. If you'd like to try your hand at writing or drawing, this could be the best place to start!
