As mentioned in my reviews, the writing has such clarity. The sheep scene was spot on and you impart as much with imagination as with words.

Please, please, please be gentle. Poor Bill. I still think (hope) he is jumping to conclusions about Fleur. It wouldn't be the first time in this story.

Caro is right. It has got to hurt Bill that his family has instantly accepted Caro when they quite obviously and publicly snubbed Fleur. It doesn't matter that the family now APPEARS to have been right about Fleur. The rejection still hurt Bill. I wonder if anyone besides Caro realizes just how much that hurt him.

Sorry to get tied up in a subplot.

No worries - the subplot is there to be tied up in I won't say too much on the Bill/Fleur thing, but I will tell you that I'll do my best to be gentle. I know how much you like Fleur, so I hope you're not too mad at me for the way things are at the moment.

As for Bill - yes, he's got it bad right now... he does need closure, doesn't he? Hm... can't say too much

And yes, thank you for the sheep compliments. I almost grossed me out writing it but it had to be in there!! Dragons aren't fluffy herbivores (sp?)

Also, I'm sorry to say that there's only chapter 16 which is finished. It's been with my beta and I'm doing a few modifications to it before it goes up - which will hopefully be very soon. Then I still have to finish chapter 17 - which I'm planning to have up by Christmas, all depending on RL and my beta. And after that, I'm afraid it will probably be a monthly update thing, depending on how much RL keeps me busy.

Well if RL forces you to go to monthly updates, I can't say we have any call to complain. After all, for most of this story you've had close to daily updates!!!! HOWEVER, I would just like to encourage you to try your best to update as often as possible (consistent with keeping the same level of quality in your story telling, of course).

Normally I don't particularly care for stories with OC's, but this has been a very surprising exception. This is very good story.

I have my doubts that there's ANY kind of comparison!!! I'm not complaining though... feel free to prod me for updates at any time It's like watching a kettle boil water... it just won't do it faster just because you stare at it, but it won't stop you from doing just that either

Oh, and the good news is that chapter 17 is near completion, the bad news is that I re-wrote the whole chapter so it's taking me a bit longer than anticipated. So, please bear with me

I think Bill and Caroline will become good friends. I mean, they're already part way there. And while I'm still pro Bill/Fleur, I think Caroline can help Bill get past all that and be ready when someone right for him comes along.
